BJD were contracted by a prominent design and build contractor to complete the concept design and pitch for this cloud based HR and finance app provider. Our research and study of the building led to the design of a dynamic workplace suited to the needs of two very different user groups (app developers and sales and marketing professionals) who need to carry out very different types of work, and typically have polar opposite personality types, but still must actively collaborate, share knowledge and form a single community in the new workplace.

These two quotes, which we discovered almost immediately as we began our research into Workday, have driven our design. As we dug deeper we found more and more stories of Workday being a company that doesn’t just say they care about their employees, but a company that lives and breathes caring about its employees. It’s in Workday’s DNA, and it’s at the core of our concept design for their new workplace.
